The History

I first became interested in wedding photography in 2004 while searching for a photographer for my own wedding.

I researched hundreds of photographers, their price plans & packages, the clauses & restrictions and of course the all important albums.

The whole world of wedding photography packages (the Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Diamond Deluxe and Double Diamond Deluxe with Cheese!) were overwhelmingly complicated and exorbitantly expensive.

I had a very simple but exacting list of criteria that needed to be fulfilled and I resolved that it would be my aim to meet those requirements for my future clients.

The Service

I will meet you before the wedding and create a list of all those 'most important to you' shots. I will come to your wedding venue and discuss the pictures that you have been imagining as you float around the garden in the dress of your dreams.

There will usually be two photographers at your wedding, and we will separate so that we can cover both of you in the morning in different venues. One of us will always be near the happy couple and the other can take candid shots of guests, photograph all those little details at the wedding breakfast (that you took ages to make), get the kids playing in the gardens, and show you the things that were happening while you were busy.

We will be able to do more than one style of photography; while one of us takes the formal group shots the other can take the candid shots as the group is organised and everyone looks for the best man.

We will stay until we have covered your whole day - until the cake is cut and the speeches are finally over! We won't be staying for your party but your friends will cover all of those less gracious moments as the champagne continues to flow.

Afterwards..........

While you are relaxing on your honeymoon, I will edit your pictures so that they are ready to view as soon as you arrive home. They will appear on this website as a private gallery. Once you have approved the gallery it will be released so that all of your friends can see them too.

You will receive a copy of the high resolution images for your personal use. That means that you can print them and make your thank you cards.

Next we will start designing an album for you.

The Photographers

Your two photographers on the day will be Zoe Warboys and Jo Walgate.

We are good friends and work smoothly as a team. You can see more of Zoe's background on the 'About Zoe' page......(as you might expect!!)

Jo has also done a City & Guilds photography course and received distinctions for all of her work.

We have both been married in the last 6 years and feel that we have a good understanding of what our brides are looking for. We know that the photos are important to the groom too, obviously, but let's face it - the bride HAS to look amazing in her pictures......she's been dreaming about this for a long time!

We are both girls and we know how important it is that your positions are flattering and that you will want some subtle help with what looks good through the lens. After all you may not be a super model but you need to look like one, right!

On the day, we will stay out of your way until the group shots. Now we know that you don't want hours of formal shots, but even if it's not your style you'll probably want a few for the relatives. Zoe has been a dance instructor for many years and is very practiced at organising large groups of people quickly with minimum fussing.

We will do our very best to cover every angle at your wedding and to ensure that you both look wonderful. Our photographs will be looked at for years to come and we do appreciate how important our job is.

The Photograph Albums

Your basic package includes a 12 x 12, 15 spread / 30 page album. You can choose between a traditional style matted album or a modern storybook album. There is a huge choice of covers and obviously the option to upgrade to a larger size or different shape is always available.

Prices

I have one basic package which is the starting point for all of my clients.

This includes;

All pre-wedding meetings and visits to the venue.

Coverage of the day from the Bridal preparations through to when the guests sit down to eat.

You will recieve a minimum of 350 edited and retouched images in high resolution on a CD. The CD will arrive in a presentation case and will be accompanied by a proof book.

Your album will be a 12 x12 inch, 15 spread / 30 page book in either a matted or storybook style. I will design it for you as soon as you have chosen your favourite shots.

All of your photographs will be uploaded to a private gallery on this website. Your guests can purchase prints from me and I will send them out or you can make reprints from your CD, it's up to you!

For this service I charge £1500.00

The package can however be taylored to suit you.

I can stay for a longer or shorter day,

You can pay extra for the a variety of album upgrades,

I can supply a variety of parent albums and small gift albums,

I can supply thank you cards for when you return from your honeymoon,

There are so many ways of displaying your favourite image, from canvases to acylic mounts and these are all available.
